Description

  • Build agent-driven workflows for cloud security platforms such as a FedRAMP High cloud-native SIEM and Tier 1 agentic SOC.
  • Design triage agents that ingest, enrich, deduplicate, and disposition large volumes of data around the clock.
  • Develop investigation agents that perform multi-step, read-only investigations and assemble evidence bundles.
  • Create reporting and threat intelligence agents that fetch, normalize, and draft operational reporting from system ledgers.
  • Translate complex systems requirements into autonomous, production-ready AI tools.
  • Build solutions aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework Security Pillar and NIST security controls.
  • Work with secure tool interfaces, governed APIs, and cloud-native security workflows.
  • Benchmark agent precision, reduce false positives, and validate autonomous behavior at scale.

Requirements

  • Strong programming foundation in Python, Go, or TypeScript.
  • Demonstrated AI/LLM experience with autonomous agents, local model frameworks, or advanced coding-assistant workflows.
  • Ability to translate architecture docs, security control catalogs, and vendor specifications into functional autonomous AI tools.
  • Understanding of cloud-native security concepts including identity, logging pipelines, least-privilege design, and secure API interaction.
  • Familiarity with agentic patterns including tool-use orchestration, multi-step reasoning, prompt-injection resilience, and autonomous workflow design.
  • Strong reasoning and debugging skills for validating autonomous systems at scale.
  • Comfort operating in high-velocity, high-accountability environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to obtain Security+ within the first year.
  • Preferred exposure to NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171, FedRAMP High, SOC 2, CIS Benchmarks, and OWASP.
  • Preferred experience with AWS security and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Security Hub, IAM, and event-driven architectures.
  • Preferred experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible or cloud-native automation pipelines.
  • Preferred familiarity with SIEM/SOC workflows, log ingestion patterns, enrichment pipelines, and evidence-bundle generation.
  • Preferred experience designing or consuming secure tool interfaces such as MCP, governed API layers, and secure data-lake access patterns.
  • Preferred contributions to open-source AI projects, personal agentic labs, or published research.
  • Preferred understanding of Zero Trust, secure software development practices, and cloud-native threat modeling.
