Description

  • Partner with clinical, operations, and product teams to design and build technology for the company’s health plan and care experiences.
  • Build mobile apps, web applications, and APIs that make health benefits and care accessible and engaging for members.
  • Develop and refine agentic workflows using machine learning models to automate and add intelligence across the platform.
  • Integrate third-party vendors and health tech tools to expand platform functionality, data sources, and member services.
  • Work on both the member-facing platform and the clinical intelligence platform used by care teams.
  • Own projects from ideation through release, influencing product and technical decisions along the way.
  • Contribute to technical architecture and engineering best practices across the team.
  • Help recruit strong engineers from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience writing production code across the stack.
  • Experience with the technologies in the company’s stack, including React, React Native, TypeScript, Python, Django, Postgres, Docker, and AWS (preferred).
  • Experience with machine learning models, agentic workflows, or automation in the healthcare space (preferred).
  • Experience working with messy healthcare data and ETL work (preferred).
  • Ability to design, build, and ship features end-to-end.
  • Strong comfort with learning and unstructured problem-solving.
  • Ability to work with humility and resilience in a high-growth environment.
  • Experience building collaborative engineering cultures through code review, documentation, mentorship, and teamwork.
