Description

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of QA engineers and automation specialists.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, performance management, and career development support.
  • Partner with Engineering leadership on team planning, hiring, organizational growth, and resource allocation.
  • Define and implement an AI-first quality engineering strategy across the product lifecycle.
  • Lead the design and implementation of AI-agent-driven QA workflows and autonomous testing approaches.
  • Integrate AI-assisted tooling into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
  • Evaluate and introduce emerging AI QA tools and frameworks.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to embed quality earlier in development and drive shared ownership.
  • Lead post-incident quality reviews and implement systemic improvements.
  • Build frameworks, reusable testing infrastructure, and automation architecture while remaining hands-on.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in QA engineering, with deep expertise in automation.
  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing technical QA or engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated experience building AI-driven or agentic quality systems.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing automated test frameworks at scale.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or similar languages.
  • Experience with cloud-based CI/CD systems and modern DevOps practices.
  • Experience using AI tools and agents in development workflows.
  • Deep understanding of AI agents, LLMs, and testing approaches for AI-driven systems.
  • Experience with autonomous test generation or AI-assisted test maintenance is highly desirable.
  • Strong people leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills with the ability to influence Product and Engineering leaders.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $210,000–$240,000 for Tier 1 locations (San Francisco, New York, Seattle).
  • Base salary of $190,000–$220,000 for Tier 2 locations (all other locations).
  • Eligible for equity in addition to base pay.
