Description

  • Coordinate onboarding for new Digital Reporter independent contractors by tracking steps, communicating next actions, and ensuring smooth activation.
  • Support engagement efforts by routing communications, flagging at-risk independent contractors, and helping execute retention touch points.
  • Assist with QA workflows by reviewing reports, logging issues, and routing feedback according to established standards.
  • Build and maintain an internal knowledge base for Digital Reporter processes, playbooks, and operational procedures.
  • Manage routine Slack and email communication related to Digital Reporter operational matters.
  • Identify gaps in existing documentation and help close them.
  • Work alongside the Digital Reporter Operations team and report to the Manager, Strategy and Operations.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a fast-growing startup or consulting firm.
  • Experience in coordinator, operations, or community management roles.
  • Highly organized and thorough, with a track record of completing tasks fully and documenting work.
  • Clear written communication skills and comfort sending professional messages to independent contractors.
  • Eager to build structure where it does not yet exist and able to take initiative, not just execute.
  • Background in legal, deposition, or independent contractor management is a plus.
