Description

  • Pioneer and lead the technical vision, architecture, and standards for iOS engineering.
  • Own the mobile CI/CD infrastructure, including GitHub Actions and self-hosted runners.
  • Lead the transition to fully automated UI testing and implement robust test automation and performance monitoring.
  • Explore and integrate AI-driven tools and workflows to reduce code review bottlenecks and improve developer assistance.
  • Identify and champion engineering process and tooling improvements across the organization.
  • Lead architectural design efforts and help engineers understand system and application designs.
  • Partner with Product Management, Architects, and Engineering leaders to define and drive a scalable mobile platform strategy.
  • Serve as the iOS Guild Lead and drive horizontal technical alignment and code standards across teams.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to plan solutions for large features and remove barriers to scale.
  • Mentor engineers across squads and help foster a culture of mentoring and technical growth.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant software engineering experience, including experience in a high-growth startup.
  • Expert proficiency in Swift and the iOS ecosystem.
  • Deep experience with mobile CI/CD and managing build hardware or runners.
  • Deep knowledge of GitHub Actions, including self-hosted runners.
  • Deep knowledge of UI test automation frameworks and test automation techniques.
  • Experience leading technical guilds or driving organizational change across multiple teams without direct managerial authority.
  • Proficiency in applying AI/LLMs to engineering workflows.
  • Experience with feature flagging strategies and internal tooling, such as LaunchDarkly.
  • Expert understanding of software design patterns and clean, idiomatic code structure.
  • A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or equivalent work experience.
