Description

  • Own and maintain the integrated program plan for PIKTOR and, over time, the broader portfolio, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and critical path.
  • Serve as the source of truth for program status and proactively surface roadblocks, slippage, and timeline risks to leadership with options and recommendations.
  • Design and run program governance, including team cadence, stage gates, decision rights, escalation paths, and OKR planning.
  • Partner with functional leaders to anticipate strategic decisions, frame trade-offs, and prepare materials for CEO and executive leadership decisions.
  • Use AI tools by default to streamline timeline integration, status reporting, synthesis, and cross-functional communication.
  • Design and continuously improve dashboards, briefings, email cadences, and other communication tools to keep the organization aligned on timelines and risks.
  • Track program budget, resourcing, and CRO/vendor coordination in partnership with Finance and Clinical Operations.
  • Coordinate diligence and deal-readiness work for business development and partnership discussions, ensuring a coherent internal data package.
  • Drive alignment and execution across functions without direct authority by building trust and accountability.
  • Prepare program-related board and investor materials and keep externally communicated timelines aligned with the internal plan.
  • Establish the tools, templates, and operating rhythms that will define the company’s program-management standards as the senior-most hire in the function.

Requirements

  • ~10+ years of experience in biotech/pharma drug development, with meaningful time in program or portfolio management.
  • Direct experience taking a program through late-stage development and to approval and/or commercialization.
  • Oncology experience strongly preferred; familiarity with small-molecule and/or PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway programs is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional programs and influence senior executives without direct authority.
  • Deep, hands-on understanding of the integrated drug-development process across clinical development, clinical operations, regulatory, CMC, nonclinical, finance, and legal.
  • Genuinely AI-native, with extensive day-to-day use of AI tools and comfort designing dashboards, reporting, and communication tools.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and executive presentation skills.
  • Experience supporting business development diligence, alliance management, or partnership execution is a strong plus.
  • Experience preparing board- or investor-facing materials is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a small, fast-moving, ambiguous environment with a low-ego, collaborative approach.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and able to complete a background check.
