Description

  • Lead strategy, execution, and mapping for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
  • Create discovery-first content, including search-optimized articles, outlines, and video scripts.
  • Develop and execute a strategy for the Learn site and co-own the master content calendar.
  • Partner with CFP® professionals to produce accurate, authoritative expert-led content.
  • Monitor algorithm shifts in generative search and identify new optimization opportunities.
  • Build and scale Facet’s organic presence on Reddit and other discussion-based platforms.
  • Conduct daily social listening to surface high-value conversations, monitor brand sentiment, and share insights with marketing and PR teams.
  • Manage the external review ecosystem to support trust and visibility across reputation platforms.
  • Work with Growth to launch and scale an Affiliate Creator / Brand Advocate program.
  • Partner cross-functionally with PR, Content, TOF, and Marketing to identify publication gaps and improve off-page brand mentions.
  • Analyze qualitative sentiment and quantitative performance metrics to evaluate the ROI of off-page growth efforts.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in SEO, Content Marketing, Digital PR, or Community Management, ideally in Fintech, Finance, or another regulated YMYL industry.
  • Strong portfolio of copywriting and editing across multiple formats, including editorial articles, social copy, video scripts, and forum-style discussions.
  • Deep understanding of AI-driven search, LLM crawling and citations, and how to integrate AI tools into writing and research workflows.
  • Proven experience growing brand authority on Reddit or similar forum-based communities.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with internal subject matter experts and external creators.
  • Experience analyzing data from social listening platforms, Google Analytics, and SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, or Sprout Social.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and content calendar management skills.
  • Customer-obsessed mindset with an understanding of everyday financial questions and motivations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into accessible language.
  • Financial literacy; CFP® certification or progress toward financial planning credentials is a strong plus.
  • Existing network of personal finance creators, bloggers, or affiliates is a plus.
  • Experience with tools like Sprout Social, Notion, Asana, Ahrefs, or Semrush is a plus.
