Description

  • Support the Sales Account Executive team in a pre-sales capacity for a regional territory.
  • Assist with the design, planning, implementation, and training for secure network solutions.
  • Provide consultative pre-sales support to partners and customers on Extreme Networks solutions.
  • Travel to customer sites to present proof-of-concepts and support solution demonstrations.
  • Prepare and deliver customer presentations to audiences at all levels of management.
  • Present at trade shows, seminars, and internal demonstrations.
  • Provide educational training on leading-edge technologies and Extreme Networks products to the presales team.
  • Analyze customer needs and position Extreme Networks solutions effectively.
  • Help manage complex customer interactions and set expectations to maintain customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Must reside in Louisiana or Mississippi.
  • 8-10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in networking technologies with competitive industry and regional knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of security design features and ability to analyze and implement network and systems security designs.
  • Hands-on experience with security-related toolsets.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills in a network environment.
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and demonstrate Extreme Networks solutions effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal, technical presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the region up to 50%.
  • B.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Network certifications are desired.
  • In-depth knowledge of two or more networking technologies such as NAC, IDS/IPS, convergence, wired/wireless/SDWAN, IPv4/IPv6 routing protocols, or Layer 2 switching.
