Description

  • Train and coach concierge, director, and resident experience teams on sales practices and daily execution.
  • Drive move-ins by managing sales activities, follow-up, and the Sherpa database with community teams.
  • Review sales databases and report issues with community leaders to improve future performance.
  • Evaluate tour paths, staging, and presentation standards, and recommend improvements to the resident experience.
  • Conduct sales calls, respond to inquiries, and lead walking and scheduled tours for prospective residents and families.
  • Plan and execute daily sales strategy meetings, creative follow-up, home visits, and other sales activities.
  • Track move-ins, move-outs, and referral activity, and determine appropriate follow-up actions.
  • Maintain CRM contact and referral source records with detailed and accurate information.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources and support lead-generation partnerships such as A Place for Mom and Caring.com.
  • Work with community and regional leaders to stage apartments, gather market intelligence, and support sales reporting and training.

Requirements

  • Experience in senior living, including assisted living and memory care, is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and education is preferred.
  • Background in sales or leasing in health care or senior living is helpful.
  • Expertise in relationship selling and a demonstrated ability to close is required.
  • Experience with motivational interviewing techniques is preferred.
  • Experience in a customer service-oriented setting is necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Must possess a current driver's license.
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English is required.
  • Ability to connect with clients, manage emotions, and guide clients toward solutions is required.
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinking and strong sincerity and empathy are desired.
