Description

  • Act as a trusted deputy to the CFO on planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis.
  • Independently lead financial workstreams that support executive and Board decisions.
  • Pressure-test assumptions, identify tradeoffs, and provide clear recommendations.
  • Own the company’s rolling forecast, re-forecast, and long-range planning processes.
  • Build scenario-based financial models to assess risk, opportunity, and tradeoffs.
  • Partner with Growth, Marketing, Product, and Operations to evaluate performance and scalability.
  • Develop frameworks for ROI, unit economics, and capital efficiency.
  • Support pricing decisions, growth investments, and strategic initiatives with rigorous analysis.
  • Establish a lean, high-signal FP&A cadence and executive-ready reporting.
  • Coach and develop a small, high-performing FP&A team over time.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Corporate Finance.
  • Experience in high-growth, high-expectation environments such as public companies, late-stage private companies, fintech, SaaS, or marketplaces.
  • Experience supporting senior executives and Board-level planning.
  • Strong independent judgment and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Ability to challenge assumptions and explain when something does not make sense.
  • Clear, direct communication with executive presence.
  • Bias toward action, clarity, and ownership over process.
  • Experience with crypto or digital assets is a plus, but not required.
