Description

  • Own end-to-end equity administration, including grants, vesting, exercises, cancellations, terminations, and record keeping.
  • Maintain the official cap table and equity administration systems with accurate data, governance, and access controls.
  • Partner with Legal and Finance to support financial reporting, audits, and corporate transactions with board-ready equity data.
  • Prepare, validate, and reconcile equity and executive compensation data for proxy statements and related disclosures.
  • Support compensation planning cycles, job leveling, market benchmarking, and compensation analysis for HR and Finance.
  • Coordinate with HR and Payroll on equity- and compensation-related payroll processing, tax withholding, and employee communications.
  • Develop and document scalable equity and compensation processes, workflows, and controls to reduce manual work and risk.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for employee questions about equity and total rewards programs.
  • Bring best practices to improve equity governance, compensation administration, and cross-functional coordination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in equity administration, compensation, or total rewards.
  • Experience in a public company or complex environment, preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of equity plans, cap tables, vesting mechanics, and equity administration platforms.
  • Solid compensation foundation, including compensation analysis, benchmarking, and annual planning cycles.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a control-focused mindset and strong data integrity standards.
  • Ability to operate independently, build processes from scratch, and handle ambiguous or evolving responsibilities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to partner effectively across Finance, Legal, and HR.
  • Experience supporting proxy reporting, audits, or SEC-related equity and compensation disclosures, preferred.
  • Certified Compensation Professional or similar certification, preferred.
  • Experience supporting global or multi-jurisdiction equity or compensation programs, preferred.
  • Experience in high-growth or scaling organizations, preferred.
