Description

  • Build Exerizon’s AI-native SDLC product, including agent orchestration, runtime, and client system integrations.
  • Influence product architecture, code, and early enterprise deployments.
  • Lead architectural workshops and discovery sessions with banking and insurance clients.
  • Prepare recommendations, migration scenarios, and decision documentation such as ADRs, C4 diagrams, and NFRs.
  • Work directly with client CTOs and engineering teams on architecture and implementation topics.
  • Co-create technical proposals and assess project feasibility during pre-sales.
  • Help define architectural standards, playbooks, frameworks, and automations for the organization.
  • Mentor additional team members and contribute to team growth.

Requirements

  • At least one system built from scratch that ran under real production load.
  • Practical experience with DDD, bounded contexts, and hexagonal architecture.
  • Experience applying CQRS and event sourcing where they solve a real problem, and favoring simpler solutions otherwise.
  • Experience with long-running migrations such as strangler fig and anti-corruption layer approaches.
  • Ability to start integrations from the contract and domain, and document decisions with cost, risk, and operational impact in mind.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure, including networking, IAM, cost, and security.
  • Experience with IaC and delivery practices such as Terraform/Terragrunt, GitOps, and CI/CD with supply chain security considerations.
  • Experience with observability tools and practices such as OpenTelemetry, structured logging, and useful alerting.
  • Experience building systems based on AI models, including output validation, regression control for model or prompt changes, and inference cost awareness.
  • Strong communication skills for working with CTOs, senior developers, teams, and clients in a direct, business-aware way.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of outcomes, and make clear architectural decisions instead of deferring with vague answers.
  • Preferred: experience conducting architectural reviews or external client assessments.
  • Preferred: prior failure as an architect or tech lead with clear lessons learned.
  • Preferred: comfort writing a lot of code and distinguishing between pragmatic and poor-quality code.
