Description

  • Design and improve the cloud architecture of the data platform across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Build for stability and fault tolerance so the platform can recover automatically from production failures.
  • Create clear APIs, templates, and shared tools that help internal developers ship faster with fewer errors.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud and Kubernetes usage to control infrastructure costs.
  • Identify outdated parts of the system and plan incremental modernization without disrupting daily work.
  • Review technical designs and define architecture standards to guide teams without becoming a bottleneck.
  • Ensure security is built into the platform architecture and supports customer data protection and compliance needs.
  • Define monitoring and observability approaches so incidents can be understood quickly when failures occur.
  • Build prototypes and evaluate new technologies before wider adoption.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Software Architect or Principal Engineer.
  • Experience with cloud SaaS products and systems handling large volumes of data.
  • Real-world experience with microservices.
  • Experience with containers, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with messaging systems.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify failures, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities independently.
  • Strong focus on developer experience and usability for internal engineering teams.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to developers and executives.
