Description

  • Define and enforce best practices and coding standards across the project.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to guidelines and high code quality.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Spark applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Optimize code for performance and scalability with efficient data handling.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure application reliability and performance.
  • Create and maintain documentation for code, processes, and workflows.
  • Work independently while collaborating closely with other team members.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
  • Extensive experience with Apache Spark, including Databricks and/or Azure Synapse/Fabric.
  • Proficiency in Python and data manipulation using Pandas/Polars or similar libraries.
  • Solid understanding of columnar storage formats, especially Parquet, with practical experience using Delta Tables.
  • Proven experience in data processing, analysis, and transformation workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to self-manage, prioritize tasks, structure workload, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and its implementation in scalable systems.
  • Intermediate+ English level.
  • Experience with Azure Cloud services or other major cloud platforms, including SaaS offerings such as Service Bus, Data Lake, Blob Storage, and Redis (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with FastAPI (nice to have).
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration (nice to have).
