Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications for Capital Markets platforms and business functions.
  • Customize and configure Murex components, including workflows, datamarts, interfaces, reporting solutions, and integrations.
  • Develop and support real-time and batch integrations between Murex and upstream and downstream systems.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with business users, analysts, architects, and technology teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Optimize application and database performance through effective design and tuning strategies.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD processes.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, testing, and documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to automate development and operational processes through AI-enabled solutions.
  • Contribute to technical discussions and best practices related to architecture, integration, and system scalability.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience in Java development, including object-oriented design, multithreading, collections, performance optimization, and enterprise application development.
  • Extensive experience working with Murex across one or more functional areas, including Front Office, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Back Office, Collateral Management, Regulatory Reporting, or Integration.
  • Experience with Murex customization and configuration, including workflows, datamarts, interfaces, reporting, and integration development.
  • Strong understanding of Capital Markets products including FX, Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Derivatives, and structured products.
  • Experience designing and developing real-time and batch integrations between Murex and external systems.
  • Proficiency with SQL and database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience tuning and optimizing complex database queries.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code reviews, and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to identify and implement opportunities for AI-driven automation across software development, testing, code quality, and operational processes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams.
  • Intermediate/Upper-Intermediate English level.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and cloud-native application development (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with APIs and microservices architectures (nice to have).
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (nice to have).
  • Exposure to large-scale financial systems and enterprise integration environments (nice to have).
