Description

  • Collaborate directly with customers and partners to understand their use cases and customize reference HMIs.
  • Design and build visually rich, user-friendly web applications for monitoring and controlling industrial robotic workcells.
  • Add new features, controls, and 3D visualizations to existing frontend solutions.
  • Partner with backend engineers to integrate real-time data streams and connect frontend interfaces to backend systems.
  • Navigate backend code to trace data flows, debug API endpoints, and unblock frontend integration work.
  • Guide customers through frontend development best practices and help them take ownership of their custom HMI services.
  • Work hands-on with physical robots, hardware, and automation equipment in the lab and field to test and validate interfaces.
  • Create and maintain reusable frontend components in collaboration with the Design team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in frontend web application development and design.
  • Deep expertise in Angular, TypeScript, and Three.js.
  • Experience building visually rich, user-friendly client-side applications with complex interactions.
  • Comfort navigating codebases in Go, C++, or Python and understanding data structures to trace data flows.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience collaborating directly with customers or external partners.
  • Willingness and excitement to work hands-on with physical hardware and robotic systems; prior robotics experience is not strictly required.
  • Familiarity with industrial automation, robotics, manufacturing, or human-machine interface (HMI) design is preferred.
  • Experience with 3D graphics and visualization libraries in a web context, such as WebGL, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with server-side software such as Go, C++, or gRPC is preferred.
  • Previous experience in Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Developer Relations, or forward-deployed engineering is preferred.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $147,200 to $208,250 USD.
  • Eligible for bonus compensation.
