Description

  • Support product demos, installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs for field units.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues using wiring diagrams, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers while assessing needs and resolving concerns.
  • Perform onsite break/fix service and preventative maintenance at customer locations.
  • Document service activity through reports, work orders, expenses, and RMAs.
  • Learn and use internal systems for inventory management, invoicing, and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, sales, customer success, and management teams.
  • Participate in technical training, team meetings, and onboarding support for new personnel and third-party providers.
  • Lead special event support activities at strategic locations such as sports stadiums and large venues.
  • Train customer employees and security staff on product use and operation.

Requirements

  • Ability to undergo technical training on products, tools, equipment, and software used in the field.
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Ability to install, maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and complete assigned work orders on schedule.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, up to 50%–80% of the time; role involves approximately 75%–85% regional travel.
  • Ability to work primarily onsite in the Greater Newark, NJ area with limited remote work.
  • Experience building strong customer relationships and providing customer service (preferred).
  • Familiarity with inventory management, invoicing, scheduling, or RMAs (preferred).
