Description

  • Lead the design, planning, and implementation of MLE expansion for the Syphilis-Free Start program in a new geography.
  • Adapt and refine monitoring strategies, plans, and survey tools based on lessons from existing country programs.
  • Coordinate with program, regional MLE, and country stakeholders to align on MLE design, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Support the development of program coverage estimation approaches using frameworks from other geographies.
  • Manage coordination with M&E data collection partners, including reviewing budget proposals, tracking deliverables, and coordinating communications.
  • Execute global MLE strategy workstreams, including global advocacy support, MLE approach refinement, and cross-country learning initiatives.
  • Document and synthesize cross-country MLE findings to improve approaches and promote consistency across geographies.
  • Contribute to project management for global strategy initiatives, including work plan development, milestone tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Coordinate with regional MLE and program teams to ensure alignment and quality across MLE activities.
  • Support data quality and assurance processes across geographies.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience developing M&E frameworks and plans, conducting implementation research, and designing M&E activities such as sampling design, survey protocols, and data collection tools.
  • Experience with health program monitoring and evaluation.
  • Experience conducting analysis for both global and country-level decision-making.
  • Ability to manage complex, interdependent workplans and projects, prioritize effectively, and adapt plans while managing multiple priorities.
  • Data analysis skills with demonstrated experience using statistical software, with Stata strongly preferred.
  • Experience overseeing and conducting analysis of large datasets and synthesizing complex information to inform decision-making.
  • Experience working in or with programs in sub-Saharan Africa.
  • Ability to work variable hours to overlap with colleagues across time zones.
  • Experience working collaboratively in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Professional working proficiency in French, strongly preferred.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. for U.S.-based roles; visa sponsorship is not available at this time.
  • Remote within the United States or hybrid in Washington, D.C. based on role location.
