Description

  • Manage Evidence Action’s global AI roadmap and turn organizational strategy into a sequenced, actionable plan.
  • Advise the Chief of Staff and executive leadership on AI adoption progress, readiness, tools, risks, usage guidelines, and return on investment.
  • Manage the organization’s relationship with Anthropic and other AI providers, including feature updates, deployment decisions, and policy changes.
  • Oversee the AI use case portfolio, prioritizing, sequencing, and tracking pilots across regions and functions.
  • Manage external AI vendors and consultants, ensuring accountability, performance, and risk mitigation.
  • Drive AI adoption for U.S.-based staff and functions as the regional AI lead for the United States.
  • Facilitate cross-regional knowledge sharing so tools, frameworks, and lessons learned are adapted appropriately across geographies.
  • Establish and maintain dashboards to track pilot outcomes, usage patterns, and progress against AI-related OKRs.
  • Report regularly to the Chief of Staff and GLT members on trends, adoption barriers, and recommended strategic adjustments.
  • Co-lead AI innovation with regional champions and serve as the central hub connecting AI efforts across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Public Policy, Global Health, International Development, Computer Science, Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in management consulting, internal consulting, special projects, chief of staff, or technology/product adoption roles.
  • Experience working in international development or a global NGO, preferably in multi-country contexts.
  • Background in change management, learning and development, or organizational transformation.
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI tools, particularly large language models.
  • Working knowledge of AI domains beyond LLMs, such as automation tools, predictive analytics, or workflow integrations.
  • Strong analytical ability to synthesize ambiguous information and develop clear recommendations under uncertainty.
  • Ability to learn new technical areas and organizational contexts quickly and translate that understanding into action.
  • Ability to anticipate risks and opportunities and propose next steps proactively.
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills across departments, levels, geographies, and backgrounds.
  • Project management skills and proven ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.
  • Ability to work remotely from the United States and travel approximately 15% as needed.
  • Availability across time zones to support a geographically distributed team.
  • U.S. work authorization; the employer is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of a U.S. employment visa.
