Description

  • Serve as a core member of the executive leadership team and shape organizational strategy, culture, and priorities.
  • Set and achieve program strategy across the Agriculture and Health portfolios, including vision, delivery models, priorities, and expansion plans.
  • Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing program leadership team and staff.
  • Build program systems, organizational infrastructure, and partner capacity needed to scale across geographies.
  • Design and run fast, rigorous pilots with strong measurement, feedback loops, and rapid iteration.
  • Establish strong learning architecture with clear hypotheses, rigorous measurement, and honest reporting.
  • Use cost-effectiveness evidence to guide resource allocation and scaling decisions.
  • Develop and steward open-sourced playbooks, toolkits, and insights for the field.
  • Serve as a bridge among AI labs, researchers, global development actors, implementers, and governments.
  • Support fundraising, grant development, and external representation with funders and partners.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience building and leading programs in global health, international development, or adjacent fields.
  • Demonstrated track record scaling complex initiatives to national or regional scale in low- and middle-income countries.
  • Experience building new programs and organizational functions across 3-5 countries.
  • Experience recruiting and developing top talent and building a culture of rigor and urgency.
  • Experience with AI clinical decision support, digital health, or AI in agriculture at the program design or deployment level preferred.
  • Experience in fundraising or major donor engagement, including raising $5M+ annually.
  • Familiarity with how African and/or Asian governments operate and navigating institutional processes.
  • Experience bridging technical and programmatic worlds, such as global health delivery, market-shaping, or technology for development.
  • Strong AI fluency, including working knowledge of frontier AI tools and LLMs in low-resource settings.
  • Existing relationships with major global health or agriculture funders is a plus.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; U.S. location required for fully remote candidates.
  • Cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of a U.S. employment visa at this time.
