Description

  • Draft op-eds, blog posts, speeches, policy memos, and other written materials.
  • Research public policy debates, legislation, current events, litigation opportunities, potential clients, reporters, and news outlets.
  • Analyze and distill complex topics to support messaging, speechwriting, and policy communications.
  • Track industry trends, political news, and relevant policy developments.
  • Provide client account support through scheduling, note-taking, action-item tracking, and cite-checking.
  • Collaborate with Evergreen staff to develop and execute strategies and campaigns across diverse policy issues.
  • Support clients of partner organization Evergreen Legal Strategies as needed.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent; communications, political science, or public policy degrees are preferred.
  • Excellent writing, research, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to write clearly and quickly under deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Creative, motivated, organized, and eager to work across a wide range of public policy issues.
  • Relevant work experience or internships are preferred.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work flexibly and collaboratively in a virtual environment.
  • Availability for the full-time 18-week Fellowship from January 11, 2027, through May 14, 2027.
