Description

  • Develop technical standards and contribute hands-on software code, tools, and platforms.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.
  • Define development approaches, including technology choices, workflows, and coding standards.
  • Ensure software meets quality, security, maintainability, extensibility, and scalability requirements.
  • Investigate alternatives and new technologies to drive continuous innovation and improvement.
  • Adhere to schedules and deadlines for assigned work.
  • Work within a dynamic team on challenging technical goals and evolving software projects.

Requirements

  • MSc or BSc degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 10 years of proven experience in the software development lifecycle using Java.
  • Experience with web services, RESTful services, JSON, and XML.
  • Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, MongoDB, or in-memory grids.
  • Experience with application servers such as Wildfly or Thorntail and/or containers such as Docker and/or middleware such as message queuing and/or Spring Boot is a strong plus.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Experience in software development in large-scale or international environments is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with modern software technologies and integration platforms is preferred.
