Description

  • Install, upgrade, patch, configure, administer, document, and support SharePoint environments and related services and applications.
  • Secure SharePoint environments in line with security policies.
  • Monitor usage logs, farm and service health, and performance, and resolve related issues and improvements.
  • Optimize SharePoint content for indexing and search, and troubleshoot SharePoint errors and issues.
  • Manage backup and restore/recovery processes, quotas, service account expiries, custom app client secret expiries, and SSL certificate activation and renewal.
  • Deploy application changes to Test, UAT, and Production environments while following change management policy.
  • Facilitate testing, defect resolution, and user acceptance for customized apps, flows, and scripts created by the SharePoint Admin team.
  • Use the enterprise issue tracking system to manage issues and requests.
  • Provide technical support to SharePoint developers, support teams, and users.
  • Collaborate with ICT teams and vendors on operational support, integrations, defects, enhancements, and resolutions.
  • Prepare and validate Business Continuity Plans and Disaster Recovery procedures.

Requirements

  • University degree plus 8 years of relevant IT professional experience.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience supporting large enterprise SharePoint governance and administration, including installation, upgrade, migration, security, management, monitoring, and system development.
  • At least 5 years of experience developing PowerShell scripts for operations and maintenance, with familiarity with the software development lifecycle for change requests and deployments.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with PowerShell, Microsoft Azure DevOps/Visual Studio Online, SQL databases, and related components such as SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS.
  • At least 3 years of practical experience managing an electronic database-driven records and archive management, content management, or document management system.
  • Experience with application release deployment to Test, UAT, and Production environments.
  • In-depth working experience with Windows Server technologies, including Windows Server 2012/2016, IIS, and virtualization.
  • Experience with SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2016, or SharePoint Online.
  • Practical experience with HTML, XML, and .NET is considered an asset.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
