Description

  • Build the QA infrastructure from the ground up, including automated test suites, CI integration, regression coverage, and release validation.
  • Develop integration and end-to-end tests across backend APIs and the frontend application.
  • Design test frameworks to validate financial logic such as interest accrual precision, state machine transitions, and margin call triggers.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines so pull requests and deployments are validated before production.
  • Build and maintain test data fixtures and environment management for repeatable, isolated test execution.
  • Own the release validation process by defining and enforcing release-ready criteria.
  • Collaborate with engineers to identify testability gaps and advocate for testable architecture.
  • Extend test coverage to DAML smart contracts and on-chain/off-chain integration as the platform moves to Canton.
  • Document test plans, coverage maps, and known gaps to keep the team informed on quality posture.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in QA engineering or test automation, with experience building test infrastructure rather than only running manual test plans.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
  • Experience with API testing, integration testing, and end-to-end test frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or equivalent.
  • Background in fintech, financial services, or another system where numerical precision and state machine correctness are critical.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automating tests within deployment workflows.
  • Comfort reading and reasoning about financial logic, including interest calculations, LTV thresholds, settlement sequences, and multi-party deal flows.
  • Experience building integration and end-to-end coverage across backend APIs and frontend applications.
  • Ability to design test frameworks for financial logic validation, including precision, transition completeness, and trigger accuracy.
  • Experience extending test coverage to smart contracts and on-chain/off-chain integration is preferred.
