Description

  • Lead major compliance projects, including ICT implementation reviews, regulatory requirement rollouts, and market access compliance integrations.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, stakeholder expectations, scope, deliverables, and success metrics.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of compliance initiatives.
  • Provide compliance oversight for ICT implementations and broader technology projects.
  • Review and approve technology changes from a compliance perspective.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory technical standards, including MiFID II RTS 6 algorithmic trading requirements.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to embed compliance controls into system architecture and the SDLC.
  • Ensure proper documentation and audit trails for technology implementations.
  • Act as a compliance liaison for technology and trading teams.
  • Participate in regulatory examinations and inquiries and present compliance updates to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree or JD preferred.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as ITIL 4, ISO/IEC 27001, CISA, or CRISC.
  • Demonstrated experience in technology compliance and ICT implementation oversight.
  • Strong background in ICT governance and control frameworks, algorithm development and testing requirements, system change management, and technology audit/compliance testing.
  • Experience with order types, market data, and execution venues.
  • Knowledge of regulatory technical standards for electronic trading.
  • Ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them to HFT operations.
  • Strong project management skills with experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously; prior experience at a proprietary trading firm or HFT-focused organization preferred.
  • Technical certifications such as CISA or CISSP, DevOps compliance and CI/CD experience, cloud infrastructure compliance knowledge, and Python or SQL skills are preferred.
