Description

  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Control Center, IT, and Shared Services to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities.
  • Assess field processes, workflows, system usage, data dependencies, and operational pain points.
  • Map current- and future-state processes to identify standardization, simplification, automation, and technology opportunities.
  • Translate operational needs into business requirements, functional requirements, use cases, process designs, and implementation priorities.
  • Analyze operational, asset, and system data to identify performance gaps, trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support initiatives involving SCADA, EAM/Maximo, analytics, workflow automation, integrations, and emerging technologies.
  • Develop KPIs, dashboards, metrics, reporting, and recommendations tied to measurable business outcomes.
  • Facilitate cross-functional requirements sessions, align stakeholders, resolve gaps, and support initiatives through implementation.
  • Support data quality, governance, business cases, solution evaluation, testing, change management, and adoption.
  • Track portfolio progress, risks, dependencies, benefits, and outcomes while presenting actionable insights to leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of Midstream, pipeline, or upstream oil and gas operations experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with field operations personnel and understand operational environments.
  • Direct industrial experience with at least one of SCADA systems, EAM/Maximo, or operational data platforms.
  • Experience mapping As-Is and To-Be business processes.
  • Experience translating field and operational needs into business requirements, functional requirements, or use cases.
  • Experience facilitating requirements-gathering sessions with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting operational or asset data.
  • Experience developing KPIs, metrics, or dashboards tied to business outcomes.
  • Practical understanding of data quality and governance; preferred experience includes Maximo, SCADA, workflow automation, system integrations, business cases, full implementation lifecycles, and portfolio tracking.
