Description

  • Architect enterprise-grade cloud and hybrid solutions using AWS and Nutanix on AWS (NC2).
  • Define cloud landing zones, reference architectures, and solution standards.
  • Design highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant solutions aligned with business and compliance requirements.
  • Lead architecture and design for on-premises data center migrations to AWS using hybrid and phased approaches.
  • Define migration patterns and cutover strategies, and partner with application and infrastructure teams to reduce risk and downtime.
  • Design and implement Nutanix Cloud Solution components running on AWS.
  • Architect networking and connectivity across on-premises, AWS, and NC2 environments.
  • Enable solution automation and configuration management using Harness.
  • Drive infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD standards using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
  • Design centralized logging, monitoring, and observability solutions using Splunk and AWS-native services.
  • Establish cloud governance, guardrails, and compliance controls, and support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity architecture.
  • Act as a technical advisor and mentor to solution and cloud engineering teams.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or solution architecture.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, EKS, Transit Gateway, and Direct Connect.
  • Proven experience with Nutanix on AWS (NC2) and Nutanix solution components.
  • Hands-on experience migrating workloads from on-premises environments to AWS.
  • Experience with Terraform and Harness for configuration management and CI/CD.
  • Strong understanding of IAM, security tooling, and enterprise controls.
  • Experience integrating Splunk, CyberArk, and CrowdStrike.
  • Solid background in hybrid networking and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Ability to work some nights and weekends for migration projects.
  • Must live within a 2-4 hour drive of Boston, MA, Princeton, NJ, or Downers Grove, IL for occasional office visits.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) preferred.
  • Nutanix certifications such as NCP or NCM preferred.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux solutions preferred.
  • Background in large-scale enterprise or regulated environments preferred.
  • Consulting or managed services experience preferred.
