Description

  • Ensure timely updates of existing kernels with security fixes and CVE patches.
  • Provide support for existing functionality and implement new features.
  • Optionally assist with automation by creating Python and Bash scripts for testing CVE patches.
  • Work on Linux kernel patches with a strong focus on cybersecurity.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver solutions for customers.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in C programming and exceptional debugging skills.
  • Experience with Linux kernel core subsystems.
  • Extensive experience with GDB and other debuggers.
  • Basic understanding of kernel ABI.
  • Proficiency in Git for development, patch management, and branch management.
  • Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, planning, time management, decision-making, presentation, and organizational abilities.
  • Experience automating routine tasks with AI tools.
  • Experience with Python and shell scripting.
  • Ability to thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment.
  • English proficiency at upper-intermediate level or higher.
  • Expertise in CPU performance and power analysis is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of CPU and cache architectures is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of x86-64 Assembly (AT&T syntax) is a plus.
  • Prior exposure to Jenkins is a plus.
