Description

  • Take ownership of migrating customers’ existing websites into Enroute’s environment.
  • Set up new websites and ensure they are properly delivered and hosted.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve errors that arise during website migrations.
  • Work with WordPress themes, plugins, exports, and imports during setup and migration tasks.
  • Handle traditional website migrations involving files and databases.
  • Support clean handoff of migrated websites with minimal downtime.
  • Investigate common WordPress issues such as permalinks, caching, and plugin conflicts.
  • Work with domains, DNS, SSL, and server hosting concepts as part of website delivery.

Requirements

  • HTML and CSS fundamentals.
  • JavaScript knowledge, including DOM manipulation and basic debugging.
  • Understanding of how websites are hosted and delivered, including domains, DNS, SSL, and servers.
  • Experience with WordPress setup and migration, including themes, plugins, exports, and imports.
  • Knowledge of common WordPress issues such as permalinks, caching, and plugin conflicts.
  • Working knowledge of PHP.
  • Familiarity with migrating traditional websites that include files and databases.
  • Comfort troubleshooting errors during website migrations.
