Description

  • Design and develop enterprise-level data solutions for reporting and analytics across multiple business units.
  • Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines from disparate data sources to target systems.
  • Create and optimize data models and dimensional schemas for analytical querying and reporting.
  • Develop Power BI reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions for executive and operational stakeholders.
  • Establish and enforce data quality standards, validation rules, and governance practices across data pipelines.
  • Configure pipeline scheduling, monitoring, alerting, error handling, and retry logic to ensure reliability.
  • Optimize ETL processes, database queries, and Power BI models for performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, document technical specifications, and advise on data architecture decisions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and document sustainable fixes.
  • Stay current on emerging data technologies and recommend improvements to the data platform.

Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard design, data modeling, DAX, and report optimization.
  • Strong hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines in enterprise environments.
  • Expert-level SQL skills with deep knowledge of relational and cloud databases.
  • Experience with modern data platforms and cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture principles, including data modeling, data governance, metadata management, and dimensional modeling.
  • Expertise in pipeline orchestration, scheduling, monitoring, alerting, error handling, and retry logic.
  • Proficiency in data transformation, data validation, testing strategies, and data quality assurance.
  • Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills, including presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Desirable experience integrating data from databases, APIs, cloud storage, flat files, web services, and enterprise applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with architects, database engineers, QA teams, and business analysts.
