Description

  • Monitor and maintain production systems built on Ruby on Rails and Node.js.
  • Update and patch applications to maintain security and operability, including third-party integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Execute timely resolution of support tickets.
  • Manage relational and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB and Oracle, to debug queries, resolve locks, and preserve data consistency.
  • Support applications hosted on Azure services, including IaaS environments.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams on deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Document incidents, support procedures, and system processes.

Requirements

  • Experience with Node.js for backend and frontend development.
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails.
  • Experience with Oracle databases.
  • Experience with MongoDB.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, including IaaS compute and PaaS monitoring.
  • Ability to diagnose production issues in a cloud environment.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
  • Experience working with hybrid infrastructure.
  • Background in maintaining and troubleshooting existing systems for reliability and availability.
