Description

  • Monitor and maintain records for pricing and material orders, and prepare reports, analyses, and recommendations.
  • Work with ODM/EMS and accessory suppliers to ensure supply aligns with forecasts and demand.
  • Position inventory throughout the supply chain to minimize excess and obsolescence.
  • Facilitate and drive supplier performance improvements and collaborate with supplier teams to resolve issues.
  • Communicate item/order issues and escalate jeopardy situations to management, providing information to support executive decision-making.
  • Participate in and occasionally lead department project meetings and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Develop, establish, document, and train on supply chain and procurement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement and planning-related company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct meetings, give verbal presentations, and maintain effective information flow with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Requirements

  • College degree in business or supply chain operations preferred, or commensurate experience.
  • Strong supply chain management knowledge with advanced understanding of ERP/MRP practices, processes, and techniques.
  • Previous ERP/MRP material planning experience a plus; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, filtering, and sorting; basic knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with supplier teams and various levels of management.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision and to represent Cambium professionally in the region.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, attention-to-detail, multi-tasking, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and deliver training on processes and to support departmental strategy and change initiatives.
  • Schedule flexibility to support business demands and to work with suppliers in other countries; some financial background.
  • Operates with integrity, honesty, accountability, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
