Description

  • Manage and grow assigned accounts in Italy, including providers, VARs and end users, to drive year‑over‑year revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain executive (CxO) level relationships and act as primary point of contact between key customers and internal teams.
  • Identify customer needs, resolve issues and complaints, and expand business by proposing solutions that meet customer objectives.
  • Achieve quarterly, monthly and weekly sales targets and KPIs by identifying and developing new customers and opportunities.
  • Drive up‑sell and cross‑sell initiatives within existing customers to maximize share of wallet and define cross‑selling programs across the Cambium portfolio.
  • Own and maintain the sales pipeline in the company ERP and prepare regular progress reports and forecasts using key account metrics.
  • Coordinate pre‑sales and post‑sales follow up and ensure tactical execution of deal development to avoid channel conflicts.
  • Define and drive customer MDF strategy and collaborate with RSMs, VARCAM, iCAM and RTMs on partner events, exhibitions and market development activities.
  • Represent Cambium at conferences and events to promote the wireless portfolio and develop new business relationships.
  • Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies for WISP, Service Provider and Managed Service Provider segments, support channel ecosystem expansion, manage strategic channel accounts, and build recurring revenue streams; progressively develop opportunities in the Military and Defense market.

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience as a Key Account Manager.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in the broadband wireless industry and/or networking (Wi‑Fi, switching) and IT security.
  • Proven experience in business‑to‑business sales using a value‑selling approach and achieving measurable targets.
  • Proven experience managing Service Provider and WISP accounts and strong understanding of broadband wireless market dynamics.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Managed Service Providers, strategic System Integrators, and complex indirect sales models including channel business knowledge.
  • Experience defining and executing joint go‑to‑market initiatives and managing strategic channel or partner portfolios.
  • BSc/BA in Business Administration, Sales, or a relevant field.
  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, organizational, problem‑solving and negotiation skills; self‑starter and results‑oriented.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization and to balance direct and indirect sales responsibilities.
  • Italian mother tongue and fluent English (written and oral); additional languages and prior exposure to Military/Defense markets are strong pluses.
