Description

  • Own the configuration, tuning, and management of the SIEM solution.
  • Diagnose unusual threats and develop alerts to support security incident response.
  • Perform architecture reviews, code reviews, and infrastructure configuration reviews.
  • Conduct light penetration testing on web and mobile applications and help resolve root-cause vulnerabilities.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize the vulnerability management CI/CD pipeline for container and application delivery infrastructure.
  • Partner with development and infrastructure teams to enforce secure coding practices and remediation strategies.
  • Build and maintain security frameworks and tooling for the broader engineering organization.
  • Participate in incident response and forensic investigations.
  • Provide clear guidance to development teams and help develop security training.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to execute the application security program and resolve complex security issues.

Requirements

  • Highly skilled in one or more programming languages, such as Ruby, Java, Python, C#, or Node.js.
  • Expertise in managing SIEM solutions with effective alerting and reduced noise.
  • Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, with hands-on experience in automated container vulnerability management.
  • Mastery of SAST, DAST, and IAST tools, with the ability to perform manual validation testing.
  • Deep knowledge of the OWASP Top 10, Mitre Top 25, and secure coding practices.
  • Experience with cloud security concepts and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and PCI.
  • Ability to analyze complex, ambiguous situations and identify root causes.
  • Strong communication skills with a track record of building credibility and mentoring others.
  • Experience reviewing web and mobile applications for security issues is preferred.
  • Background in penetration testing and incident response is preferred.
