Description

  • Own design for significant product areas within the new unified experience from research through execution.
  • Design user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for complex product work.
  • Plan and conduct generative and evaluative research using qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Synthesize research findings into actionable design recommendations that inform product strategy.
  • Create scalable patterns, components, and design system assets for reuse across the product.
  • Account for accessibility, responsive design, dark mode, localization, and edge cases in design solutions.
  • Mentor and coach senior and mid-level designers through feedback, skill shares, and guidance on priorities.
  • Present design work clearly and confidently to stakeholders across product, engineering, and business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to advocate for user needs and design quality.
  • Help establish and improve team processes as the design practice matures.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of product design experience with increasing responsibility for complex projects and team leadership.
  • Strong generalist capability across the full design process from research through high-fidelity design.
  • Experience planning, conducting, and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Systems thinking and experience creating scalable design systems, components, and patterns.
  • Track record of shipping high-quality products with measurable impact.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Mentorship experience supporting the growth of other designers.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence decisions with data and storytelling.
  • Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process, research skills, and high-quality craft.
  • Proficiency with Figma, Confluence, Notion, and Google Drive or similar collaboration tools.
  • Knowledge of inclusive design and WCAG standards for diverse abilities and user contexts.
  • Agile/Scrum experience in iterative, cross-functional product teams.
  • Experience with complex B2B products and multi-user, multi-role enterprise workflows.
  • Nice to have: experience helping mature design practices at growing organizations.
  • Nice to have: background in B2B SaaS, HR tech, or employee experience products.
  • Nice to have: experience with platform consolidation, design system unification, or multi-product ecosystems.
  • Nice to have: advanced inclusive design knowledge beyond WCAG basics.
  • Nice to have: experience with survey design, data visualization, or analytics platforms.
  • Nice to have: comfort learning new domains quickly and working with domain experts.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $120,000–$135,000 depending on relevant experience.
  • Role is bonus eligible.
