Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain tools and processes for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of software.
  • Work with operations staff to ensure systems remain up and running smoothly.
  • Automate, monitor, test, configure, network, and manage infrastructure as code.
  • Streamline and automate processes while troubleshooting existing development procedures.
  • Manage the creation, release, and configuration of company systems.
  • Architect and optimize service components running across GCP, Oracle, AWS, and Azure environments.
  • Codify DevOps best practices across the company.
  • Script and maintain build environments.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Services, and other departments to implement and operate CI/CD solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of DevOps work experience.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of Linux/UNIX administration.
  • Excellent understanding of Python and scripting languages such as Bash for automation.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience managing databases such as PostgreSQL.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Awareness of core DevOps concepts and Agile principles.
  • Technical cloud certifications in AWS, GCP, Oracle, or Azure are preferred.
  • Familiarity with ClickHouse databases is preferred.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare, Xen, or KVM is preferred.
  • Experience with configuration management systems such as Puppet, Chef, or CFEngine is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and client-server communication is preferred.
