Description

  • Define the enterprise vision, multi-year roadmap, and operating model for technology operations.
  • Own and govern the portfolio of operations technology, automation, workflow transformation, and global operations initiatives.
  • Develop business cases, prioritize investments, recommend funding, and oversee executive governance for the portfolio.
  • Align technology enablement, workflow design, capacity planning, and vendor performance with business growth and client commitments.
  • Sponsor standardized, scalable workflow redesign across onshore and global operations teams.
  • Set and report portfolio KPIs for productivity, quality, cost-to-serve, cycle time, utilization, vendor performance, client outcomes, and ROI.
  • Lead Technology Operations leaders and establish accountability, decision rights, and operating practices across internal teams and vendor partners.
  • Partner with Technology, Product, Data, Finance, Information Security, Compliance, and Implementation leaders to manage delivery requirements and tradeoffs.
  • Oversee operational continuity, regulatory and contractual controls, data protection, third-party performance, and change risk.
  • Sponsor pilots and phased rollouts, establish readiness criteria, and use performance data to scale, revise, pause, or retire solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, information systems, engineering, or a related field; MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, healthcare operations, technology-enabled services, or a related environment.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience at the senior director or vice president level.
  • Success building and leading enterprise technology operations, digital transformation, automation, or operational-excellence portfolios with measurable outcomes.
  • Experience leading technology-enabled workflow transformation from pilot through multi-team rollout, including planning, dependency management, gates, and budget delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations, including complex claims, denials, reimbursement, revenue recovery, or related workflows.
  • Experience governing cross-functional portfolios in a matrixed organization and partnering with Technology, Product, Data, Information Security, Finance, and Operations.
  • Financial and analytical expertise in business cases, investment prioritization, KPI design, benefits realization, and executive reporting.
  • Experience managing outsourced or global delivery partners, including vendor governance, service levels, capacity planning, commercial oversight, and risk management (preferred).
  • Executive communication, stakeholder-influence, change-leadership, and team-leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.
