Description

  • Define the enterprise vision, multi-year roadmap, and operating model for technology operations.
  • Own the portfolio of operations technology, automation, workflow transformation, and global operations initiatives, including prioritization, funding, and governance.
  • Establish accountability, decision rights, and operating practices across internal functions and global vendor partners.
  • Translate business and service-line priorities into technology capabilities, capacity plans, and delivery requirements.
  • Lead workflow redesign and standardization across onshore and global operations teams.
  • Set and report portfolio KPIs covering productivity, quality, cost, cycle time, utilization, vendor performance, client outcomes, and ROI.
  • Lead and develop Technology Operations leadership teams while delegating day-to-day execution to senior directors.
  • Partner with Technology, Product, Data, Implementation, Finance, Security, and Compliance leaders to align delivery plans and platform capabilities.
  • Oversee operational continuity, regulatory and contractual controls, information security, data protection, third-party performance, and change risk.
  • Sponsor pilots and phased rollouts, establish readiness criteria, and drive continuous improvement using performance and client data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, information systems, engineering, or a related field required; MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, healthcare operations, technology-enabled services, or a related environment.
  • 5+ years of experience leading at the senior director or vice president level.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise technology operations, digital transformation, automation, or operational excellence portfolios with measurable outcomes.
  • Experience delivering a technology-led workflow transformation from pilot through multi-team rollout, with task-level planning, dependency and gate management, and budget accountability.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations, including complex claims, denials, reimbursement, revenue recovery, or adjacent workflows.
  • Experience governing cross-functional portfolios in a matrixed organization.
  • Financial and analytical acumen, including business cases, investment prioritization, KPI design, benefits realization, and executive reporting.
  • Experience managing outsourced or global delivery partnerships, including vendor governance, service levels, capacity planning, commercial oversight, and risk management preferred.
  • Executive communication, change leadership, stakeholder influence, team-building, and decision-making skills in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
