Description

  • Supervise the daily work of assigned Revenue Services teams, including Revenue Specialists and Account Managers.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for claim processing issues and client roadblocks.
  • Partner with managers to prioritize daily team tasks and workflow.
  • Prepare performance evaluations and account reviews with the Department Leader.
  • Analyze claim payments and reimbursement using proprietary software, systems, and tools.
  • Research, request, and submit supporting documentation needed to process claims and secure reimbursement.
  • Manage communication with external clients regarding access, document requests, payment research, training, and related issues.
  • Create, review, and maintain external-facing client reports.
  • Coordinate and facilitate internal and external meetings to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Train, mentor, and support staff, including new hires, and manage hiring, performance, and corrective action decisions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • 5 years of experience in the healthcare field working in billing or collections.
  • 5 years of client-facing or customer service experience.
  • 1-2 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience with workers’ compensation billing and collections is preferred.
  • Intermediate understanding of insurance payer/provider claims processing and related data requirements.
  • Strong computer proficiency with basic office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple competing projects.
  • Must be a self-starter who can work independently, handle stress, and interact cooperatively across all levels of the organization.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
  • Ability to sit for long periods in a general office environment.
