Description

  • Supervise assigned Revenue Services teams and distribute daily priorities with managers.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for client, claims-processing, payment, billing, access, and document-related issues.
  • Analyze claim payments and documentation to verify reimbursement accuracy against fee schedules and PPO contracts.
  • Research and obtain medical records, implant invoices, and supporting documentation for claims and appeals.
  • Coordinate internal responses to client requests and maintain external-facing client reports.
  • Lead internal and external meetings addressing process improvements and operational issues.
  • Communicate with clients regarding system access, document requests, payment research, and end-user training.
  • Conduct payer follow-up and prepare bill packets or appeal letters to support correct reimbursement.
  • Collaborate with Data Analytics, Data Quality, and Document Management teams to resolve claim, payment, calculation, and documentation issues.
  • Hire, train, mentor, evaluate, and manage the performance of assigned employees while conducting quality control activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of healthcare billing or collections experience.
  • At least 5 years of client-facing or customer service experience.
  • 1–2 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
  • 3–5 years of workers’ compensation billing and collections experience preferred.
  • Intermediate understanding of insurance payer/provider claims processing and related data requirements.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, customer service, and business skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple competing projects, work independently, coach staff, and handle stress effectively.
  • Regular and predictable attendance; ability to sit for extended periods and handle PHI securely.
