Description

  • Partner with the general accounting team to facilitate the month-end close process.
  • Review monthly financial results to explain variances versus forecast and budget to executive leadership and business partners.
  • Develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts using complex financial models and input from business partners and leadership.
  • Leverage accounting and financial systems to gather, analyze, and interpret large or ambiguous data sets.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to produce monthly financial reporting that clearly communicates business performance.
  • Help create key financial presentations for senior leadership, including quarterly board meetings.
  • Support Treasury with cash positioning and cash strategy efforts.
  • Provide insights into accounts receivable status to support the order-to-cash cycle for operational and sales teams.
  • Support implementation of new accounting, accounts payable, expense processing, and related financial systems to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or another business-related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience at a leading investment bank and/or private equity firm, ideally with operating experience on a high-performance team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and quality.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with NetSuite, SAP Concur, Airbase, Expensify, or similar software.
  • Strong work ethic and results-oriented mindset.
