Description

  • Design and implement secure network architectures and infrastructure (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD‑WAN, cloud networks).
  • Develop and enforce network security policies, access controls, and system configuration standards.
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations for firewalls, switches, routers, wireless, and cloud networking components.
  • Monitor network performance and integrity using monitoring tools; analyze network data to predict and resolve potential issues or bottlenecks.
  • Troubleshoot network problems and outages, provide Tier 2/3 support for security-related incidents, and coordinate escalations.
  • Collaborate with network architects and other teams on network optimization, design changes, and scheduled updates.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users and train non-technical staff as needed.
  • Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and network configurations for design, planning, and operational reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Experience with Zscaler platforms: Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), and Zscaler Deception.
  • Proficient knowledge of networking technologies including WAN connectivity, access points, network switches, load balancers, routing protocols, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and LAN segmentation methodologies.
  • Experience with firewalls (Juniper, Cisco, Palo Alto) and Internet VPN remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols such as IPsec, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, 802.1x, and QoS.
  • Experience with wireless, local and wide area network technologies and familiarity with cloud networking concepts (vNet peering, VPC) in Azure and AWS.
  • Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation and report on network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
  • Professional certifications such as CCNP Security, CCIE, CISSP, or CEH are highly desirable.
