Description

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to customer executives, technical leadership, and internal teams by translating technical roadmaps into business value and risk assessments.
  • Define the enterprise-wide strategy for cloud adoption, migration, and modernization across multi-cloud environments.
  • Establish and enforce global cloud governance frameworks, architectural standards, reference models, and reusable deployment, security, and operations patterns.
  • Drive advanced DevOps practices and accountability models across the cloud delivery lifecycle.
  • Oversee cloud cost optimization initiatives and establish technical guardrails to maximize ROI.
  • Architect and lead implementation of complex, large-scale solutions on Google Cloud using services such as GKE, Cloud Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Run, Vertex AI, and Cloud Spanner.
  • Design and govern hybrid and multi-cloud integration patterns with secure, low-latency connectivity and consistent IAM across platforms.
  • Define the DevSecOps and cloud security posture to meet regulatory and compliance requirements such as data residency, GDPR, and HIPAA.
  • Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for emerging technologies such as Generative AI and serverless computing and shape their enterprise architecture.
  • Architect a comprehensive visibility strategy to monitor system health and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Mentor and coach Senior and Lead Cloud Engineers while fostering engineering excellence, ownership, and continuous learning.
  • Own continuous improvement of the cloud architecture delivery pipeline, promoting GitOps and end-to-end automation.
  • Collaborate with Data & AI and Engineering Leads to align architectural decisions with product roadmaps and business goals.
  • Represent and elevate the company’s technical brand through engineering blogs, whitepapers, conferences, and meetups.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in cloud architecture leadership roles managing enterprise-scale transformations.
  • Deep mastery of Google Cloud services, networking, and security as the primary platform.
  • Strong architectural experience with AWS or Azure as a secondary cloud platform.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and EKS, or equivalent Azure services.
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification preferred.
  • Professional or expert-level certification from the secondary cloud provider preferred, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including multi-cloud modules.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java or Python.
  • Experience designing solutions for global compliance and regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, and data residency.
  • Experience with DevSecOps, GitOps, and end-to-end automation in cloud environments.
