Description

  • Design and build shared platform components that multiple delivery teams depend on.
  • Own the authentication, identity, data, and messaging foundations across the platform.
  • Develop ECP Intelligence, including the tool surface, retrieval and context layer, serving path, and evaluation systems.
  • Build the first agent workflows that run on the platform.
  • Define and enforce safe agent behavior within user permissions and domain services.
  • Take over existing production systems, document their behavior, and improve their interfaces and boundaries.
  • Advance the messaging backbone with contract testing and platform support for other teams.
  • Work across the legacy ColdFusion platform and newer Node/TypeScript services during the migration.
  • Collaborate closely with other engineers on architecture and design decisions.

Requirements

  • Experience building shared components or platform services that other teams depended on, with ongoing ownership afterward.
  • Strong depth in domain-driven design and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience building production systems for an AI feature using messy, governed, or difficult data.
  • Experience carrying a pager for a system other teams relied on.
  • Breadth across more than one language and paradigm, with depth in at least one.
  • Experience with data modeling and query performance under real load.
  • Comfort using AI-augmented development while knowing when human review is needed.
  • Preferred: experience shipping meaningful customer-facing AI features beyond a chatbot.
  • Preferred: experience working with PHI or other regulated data in an AI or analytics path.
  • Preferred: experience with multi-tenant SaaS at scale and tenant isolation as a data-layer concern.
  • Preferred: experience with Node, TypeScript, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
  • Preferred: experience building alongside a legacy platform during migration.
  • Preferred: experience with contract testing or service virtualization in an event-driven system.
  • Preferred: experience mentoring engineers or interest in growing into that role.
