Description

  • Build client-facing APIs and AI-powered tooling for dv01's External API products and AI assistant.
  • Design RESTful endpoints and integrate structured finance domain knowledge into conversational interfaces.
  • Connect external tools and AI agents to dv01's data platform using MCP and similar integration patterns.
  • Extract deal structures from offering memorandums, trustee reports, and other legal documents and model them programmatically.
  • Partner with the Credit Facility Reporting team to develop and launch the client-facing on-demand borrowing base reporting tool.
  • Collaborate daily with internal domain experts, product managers, engineers, and designers.
  • Contribute to scalable, maintainable system design and write tests for long-term reliability.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of engineering experience with strong fundamentals.
  • Extensive experience with structured finance, including securitizations and credit facility transactions.
  • Understanding of web application development, including APIs, databases, and simple user-facing interfaces.
  • Interest in AI, LLMs, and API design; prior experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to abstract specifics into broader patterns.
  • Proactive, innovative mindset with the ability to tackle open-ended problems.
  • Experience evaluating engineering approaches and designing systems for long-term maintainability.
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment across technical and non-technical teams.
