Description

Co-lead a cross-functional pod with Product and Marketing to define strategy, success metrics, and an execution roadmap.
Build and evolve engineering systems for paid growth, including creative experiment frameworks, audience and signal ingestion, budget and bid optimization, and attribution pipelines.
Collaborate with data science and machine learning partners to design experiments and turn insights into product improvements.
Own planning and execution for revenue-impacting projects, including milestone tracking and risk management.
Identify and optimize the right team-level metrics while protecting delivery outcomes.
Bring technical and product perspectives to new ideas and enable rapid hypothesis testing.
Set and uphold engineering quality standards that improve reliability, scalability, and operability across Ads systems.
Coach, develop, and manage engineers while fostering a high-performing team culture.

Requirements

Experience leading, managing, and building a team of software engineers.
Track record of owning multi-engineer, multi-week technical projects to successful outcomes in a highly experimental, data-driven environment.
Strong product instincts and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience aligning stakeholders across engineering, product, design, and analytics.
Experience working closely with data, experimentation, or machine learning teams to inform prioritization and ship measurable impact.
Demonstrated ability to raise the bar on engineering practices for reliability, scalability, and observability.
Prior experience with advertising platforms, ad tech integrations, or building ad surfaces in mobile apps is preferred.
Experience improving ad quality and monetization through experimentation, targeting, or programmatic levers is preferred.
Familiarity with COPPA-compliant or kid-friendly ad solutions and the trade-offs of untargeted inventory is preferred.
Experience leading teams across multiple platforms, such as iOS, Android, and backend, is preferred.

Salary range of $204,000 to $306,000 USD.
