Description

  • Collaborate with product engineering and internal teams to support wide-ranging Identity use cases.
  • Re-architect Identity systems to enable Dropbox’s transition to a multi-product company.
  • Contribute to large-scale distributed systems design and API design.
  • Plan and execute phased data migrations and persistent storage design.
  • Build foundational platform services that operate at scale and are easy to manage.
  • Work with dependent teams across the company to align on Identity needs and implementation details.
  • Deliver high-quality work with a bias for action.
  • Mentor more junior engineers and partner with the engineering manager to build a successful team.
  • Promote a collaborative, inclusive team culture and uphold company values.
  • Ensure software and architecture excellence through feedback, risk mitigation, and alignment with technical and business goals.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering or related industry experience.
  • BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding, such as physics or mathematics, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Experience supporting high-QPS platform services in production.
  • Experience executing a system-focused roadmap for a major distributed system at scale and leading phased implementation.
  • Infra software engineering experience (preferred).
  • Prior experience with Identity and Auth concepts such as OAuth, SSO, OIDC, SAML, MFA, and RBAC (preferred).
  • Prior experience with Python and GoLang (preferred).
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations, including calls during core and non-core business hours, if assigned to a team with on-call responsibilities.

Benefits

  • Canada pay range of $190,400 to $257,600 CAD.
