Description

  • Partner with product engineers and data engineers to build reliable, efficient, and scalable data foundations, tools, and processes for long-term AI/ML growth.
  • Use data-driven insights to identify the highest-impact opportunities and influence product roadmaps and strategy.
  • Perform exploratory and deep-dive analyses to understand user workflows and engagement patterns on AI features.
  • Formulate hypotheses and design and execute rigorous experiments using efficient data techniques.
  • Translate complex data insights into clear recommendations for the business through verbal and written communication.
  • Prioritize the most important work for the area you own and focus on the highest-value opportunities.
  • Contribute to a culture of strong technical ownership and help evolve the data science working model.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Product, Engineering, Design, User Research, and senior executives to execute and iterate quickly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience leveraging data-driven analysis to influence product roadmaps and business decisions, preferably in a tech company.
  • Proven ability to work independently, drive measurable business impact, and proactively engage with stakeholders with minimal direction.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming/scripting languages.
  • Deep understanding of statistical analysis, experimentation design, and analytical techniques such as regression and decision trees.
  • Ability to provide data insights and recommendations for 0→1 products even when sample size is small.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in startups or building 0→1 products, preferred.
  • Experience using data to inform AI/ML product development, preferred.
  • Background in SaaS product, preferred.
