Description

  • Architect and develop scalable Python-based systems for real-time applications.
  • Design and implement big data solutions using Kafka and Spark for high-throughput data feeds.
  • Lead high-impact projects from concept through production.
  • Contribute to and evolve backend architecture.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams across multiple countries.
  • Mentor engineers and help define technical direction and best practices for the data engineering team.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Kafka and real-time or streaming data architectures.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Proven track record designing and scaling distributed, high-throughput backend systems.
  • Hands-on experience with big data and stream-processing frameworks such as Spark or similar tools.
  • Comfort leading projects end-to-end.
  • Experience working with cross-border, cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across time zones and cultures.
