Description

  • Develop, maintain, and ship technical components with support from a mentor, manager, and team members.
  • Learn the systems and product areas you contribute to and apply feedback and coaching to improve your work.
  • Collaborate with the team to solve customer problems and make a direct impact on the business.
  • Implement and operate technological solutions that improve experiences for merchants, dashers, and consumers.
  • Contribute to user-friendly product flows and scalable backend architecture.
  • Work on large-scale web applications and related systems as assigned.
  • Participate in analyzing and improving system efficiency, scalability, and stability when needed.

Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related discipline, with a graduation date between Fall 2025 and Summer 2026.
  • Ability to start between January 2026 and August 2026.
  • At least 2 previous software engineering internships or equivalent work experience, and no more than 2 years of full-time work experience.
  • Experience working with databases such as SQL.
  • Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
  • Experience with at least one object-oriented programming language such as Python, Java, or Kotlin.
  • Experience writing clean code, using version control, and performing unit testing.
  • Comfort exercising discretion and independent judgment in day-to-day job duties.
  • Preferred: ability to analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of systems.
  • Preferred: experience with systems monitoring, live deployments, continuous integration, service-oriented architecture, APIs, real-time technology problems, and system design.
