Description

  • Partner with DoorDash leadership to diagnose growth constraints and develop the commercial theses needed to unlock partnership-driven impact.
  • Structure first-of-kind commercial partnerships when conventional deal playbooks are not sufficient.
  • Build trusted relationships with leaders across Product, Finance, Marketing, and Strategy & Operations to secure alignment and resources.
  • Lead high-stakes negotiations as DoorDash’s primary representative with senior counterparts at global platforms and local players.
  • Work with Legal to translate commercial terms into clear agreements that define success criteria and calibrate risk.
  • Own partnership outcomes from initial thesis through launch and measurable impact.
  • Surface market signals and competitive insights to inform and prioritize the partnership roadmap for DashPass and Growth.
  • Support execution by ensuring partnerships remain aligned with the strategic vision as work transitions to cross-functional teams and partner management.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience closing complex, non-standard deals within high-scale digital platforms, consumer marketplaces, or financial services firms.
  • Seasoned commercial judgment and a track record of execution on complex partnerships.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous growth constraints into clear commercial models and partnership strategies.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders across a sophisticated, multi-faceted organization with minimal oversight.
  • Strong negotiation skills and comfort driving the deal process from ideation through execution.
  • Strong executive presence with experience engaging directly with C-suite counterparts.
  • Ability to prioritize and close high-impact deals while declining opportunities that will not move the needle.
  • Experience working independently and aligning disparate internal views into a unified deal thesis.
